Vocal Coach and Singer/Songwriter Melissa Mulligan has been voted "Best Singer-Songwriter" three years in a row in the Fairfield Weekly Grand Band Slam and has received critical acclaim and fan support for her CD's, Love This Life (2004), sparrow (2006) and Baby, It's ChristmasTime! (2007). Her songwriting has garnered several ASCAP Plus awards, a Nashville showcase for performing songwriters, and an honorable mention in the Billboard Songwriting Competition (for the funny-yet-honest, "Objectify Me").
Melissa is the owner of MMVS: Melissa Mulligan Vocal Studio in Fairfield, CT. MMVS offers private vocal coaching for all ages as well as workshops on vocal performance, songwriting, and the music industry.
Melissa is the vocal coach for the sensational new band, Kicking Daisies, accompanying them on tour dates as both the vocal coach (for Duran, Cait and Carly), and the fitness coach for the entire band. She is also the coach for YouTube favorite Mike Falzone, working with him on tour dates such as Playlist Live.
